Later salved and returned to service. 9-1940  During the first week of the Blitz the tug and crew were engaged in moving burning lighters etc away from ships, often during continuing air raids. This resulted in Captain Ernest Joseph Pridmore receiving the George Medal. 1-2-1950 Arrived at  T.W. Ward Ltd, Grays, for scrapping.
