Nolly Harvey. 14-8-2009.
Sad to hear my ex skipper Jack Webb has died. A fine captain and a fine person.R.I.P.
John Grainger.
Very sad to see the sad loss of Jack Web , i worked with him on the Sun VIII with John Grainger, my father Fred Cawsey worked with him during the war years, they were based at Southend, both deckhands and went through many scrapes onboard and ashore together, a well respected man and sure to be sadly missed by his family, for some reason Jack always reminded me of Frank Sinatra, he was a man who made an impression on me and will not be forgotten.
Eric Cawsey.

I've just heard that Billy Allen, the last surviving crewman from the Cervia tragedy, has died.
I don't know the exact date, but I understand it was about two weeks ago. I first met him when he was my skipper on the Ocean Cock back in 1962
